Alexandra Schmitz

Alexandra Schmitz has been an associate member of the research training group since October 2022. She is a founding partner of the architectural office asdfg Architekten and co-founder of Proberaum Oberhafen – Offene Werkstatt für Architektur, both based in Hamburg. Besides establishing her architectural office, Alexandra gathered teaching experience for about 6 years at the HCU Hamburg and TU Dortmund, where she published a book discussing the conversion of high-rise bunkers, entitled Bunker beleben (Revitalizing bunkers) on behalf of the Institute for Federal Real Estate (BImA).
