Paulina Domke is an urban planner with a focus on sustainable urban transformation in the context of the housing and land use crises. She holds a master’s degree in urban planning from HafenCity University Hamburg and has taught on topics such as housing, urban renewal, and planning methods. She is particularly interested in how urban policy can address ecological and social sustainability within existing residential areas, and how these strategies interact with questions of spatial justice. Her research aims to link theoretical perspectives on sufficiency and justice with empirical studies of local planning practices, contributing to debates on sustainable land use transformation.
