Discursive greening: local political debates in urban greening and biodiversity planning and implementation in German and Italian municipalities
Conference: Leibnitz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER) Conference 2024, ‘Space & Transformation: Living in Harmony with Nature’, Deutsches Hygiene-Museum Dresden, 26–27 September 2024
This talk presented the results of my research on political polarizations in urban greening and biodiversity planning in German and Italian municipalities. Through a 4-case-study comparison, the presentation investigated how local actors deal with current climate change challenges using urban greening to generate multiple benefits – from improved human well-being to increased urban biodiversity.

Autumn School: Networks – An Interdisciplinary Perspective on Connectivity, Tübinger Forum für Wissenschaftskulturen, University of Tübingen, 08–11 October 2024
The Autumn School gathered researchers from different disciplines but united by their common research interest in network theories and analyses. Participants had the possibility to introduce their current research with a poster. During the poster sessions, participants each presented their projects and were then available for one hour of in-depth discussion. Invited senior researchers presented their current and past work and were available for feedback throughout the entire workshop.
