Cities are crucial actors regarding climate mitigation, but it is not an easy task to gain an overview of which cities are taking measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to what extent they do so. The presentation gave insights into the case of German cities and the limited means of collecting relevant information on this topic. More importantly, however, it highlighted the information gaps and outlined potential avenues to fill them.
