A framework to assess design elements for social housing: Highlighting the interlinkages in socio-spatial environmental needs of inhabitants in Pune, India
Leibnitz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER) Conference 2024, ‘Space & Transformation: Living in Harmony with Nature’, Deutsches Hygiene-Museum Dresden, 26–27 September 2024
This presentation is part of the conference’s parallel session, named ‘Complex spatial analyses, indicators, models and simulations’. It gave information about a design assessment framework that I developed within my PhD research on low-income mass housing in India. The results were presented in an analytical framework highlighting the socio-spatial and socio-environmental mismatch between planned open spaces and the needs of inhabitants.
