Deadlines

Application period for PhD positions: 9 September–22 October 2024.
Application period for associated members: 29 November–6 January 2025.

The interviews for PhD positions are scheduled for 25–27 November 2024 (9–10 December as alternative dates in case of absences).
The interviews for associated members are scheduled for 13 January 2025.
All interviews will take place in Hamburg.

Events

We will organize three online information events to present the research programme of the RTG. You will also be able to ask questions concerning the application procedure.

• 16 July, 16:30–18:00
  Prof. Dr. Monika Grubbauer, general information and Q&A for PhD projects related to social science and planning topics.

• 17 July, 18:30–20:00
  Prof. Dr.-Ing. Annette Bögle and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gesa Kapteina, Q&A for PhD projects in architecture and engineering.

• 8 October, 16:30–18:00
  General information and Q&A with the team of speakers and selected supervisors.
