Dr. Lucas Pohl works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Geography at Humboldt University of Berlin. He received his PhD from the Department of Human Geography at Goethe University Frankfurt with a dissertation on ruined architectures and crisis-ridden urban development in Bangkok and Detroit. More generally, he works on the interstices between cultural geographies, urban political ecology, and psychoanalytic theory with a focus on built environments, spatial imaginaries, and political action. He is furthermore part of the editorial collective of sub\urban. zeitschrift für kritische stadtforschung and an editor of Psychoanalysis, Culture & Society.
