The book presents results of the ‘MobileInclusion’ project, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). Based on 40 qualitative interviews with low-income households and a spatial analysis, the relation between subjective perception and objective accessibility in Berlin and Hamburg is examined. Based on the results, three political strategies are developed to expand the opportunities for those affected by mobility limitations.
