Urban future-making: International week

From 8–12 June 2026, the Research Training Group “Urban future-making: Professional agency across time and scale” will host an interdisciplinary research exchange in Hamburg. The event will welcome a group of international guest researchers to engage with our community on questions of urban futures, with a particular focus on how built environment professionals respond to increasing urgency and uncertainty.

Throughout the week, the participants will take part in workshops, discussions, and collaborative formats that foster interdisciplinary dialogue and exchange. Alongside formal sessions, the programme includes informal networking and shared exploration in Hamburg, creating space to connect diverse perspectives and strengthen international research collaborations.
